battery testing and dovetail tolerance testing for lpkbv1!
parts arrive tomorrow so i will lock in and speedrun the keyboard
Redesigning lpkbv1 case for thinner walls, faster printing, lighter case, and hidden top!
The skeleton for my chess bot! Right now you can play against the worst bot ever, but features such as move indicators, check indicators and promotion are available!
Currently working on piecemaps, underpromotion and intend to use the Minmax tree search algo for the main bot! My exams are starting so the project will probably continue after arcade, so I am posting this now. It was a great run, and I really enjoyed participating in the arcade. cya!

Social media style version of scrapbook! Fetches data from scrapbook API even tho it is quite garbage tbh. Works well for any and all users!

Web dev time! Finished my competition entry and am quite proud of it <3. Also scrapbooking skyline-iota.vercel.app because i forgot to...
Have you ever thought that CMD was so simple you could DIY it? I did and ended up with this random thing i spent 7ish hours on in python. Check it out and lemme know!

Finally getting to scrapbook this after a long time..
Made a website for a school competition my cs teacher wants me to do. Decided to integrate with arcade (competition submission, not project)
The website is on the topic of Culture of India
I made it with basic vanilla html/css and messed around with Simplemaps to get smth i liked.
The website is live at this place and the source code is on github.
Here are some photos lol:
Rooms generation and the ability to use the editor camera!
A random site i made as a prototype for #equinox (formerly mosaic).
Didn't get very far, but sharing what i ended up with, because i think it looks decent.
Figured out random tile generation; will work on making the tiles into actual rooms and adding water and vibe next time
#arcade #15-days-in-public
Added gun recoil and enemies to pew pew!Day 12 of #15-days-in-public (also arcade hour yay)
Generalized my gun class and made the properties tweakable. Also added a shotgun (pretend the smg model is a shotgun :D)
Will probably add the models once i figure out 3d modelling and whatnotDay 11 of #15-days-in-public
Finally generalized the gun as a class. Tomorrow i will add the ability to choose between other guns with different stats (Shoot time, spread, recoil and even different sound effects)

(junk ss so scrappy doesn't fucking kill me)
Day 10 of #15-days-in-public
Tried to generalize the gun as a class, but could not do anything; bruh
Someone please help me yikes

Day 9 of #15-days-in-public, (rip 8 )
pew
also worked with shaders for a while, but will experiment tommorowDay 7 of #15-days-in-public (rip day 6)
Somewhat had a map load in with the textures. Will spend next sessions trying to make a few maps to cycle around.
The textures don't load properly, but i think that has to do with my MTL files
Day 5 of #15-days-in-public
Experimented with raycasting collisions for the bullet. Didn't get very far, but didn't break anything (win). Will try and make sure that the bullets collide with the ground and any other enemies once i get it figured out
Day 4 of #15-days-in-public
Removed trail because it just didn't work no matter what I tried. Replaced with a blink yellow effect for the bullet, might put a gradient texture-map and model on the bullet later.Added bullet trail and information with HP and Ammo. The trail is buggy and laggy, will fix tomorrow. I think it has to do with the way the trail renders from origin. 😕More work. Added a skybox and healthbar. Improved bullet motion. Added reloading and ammunition. Working on ammunition bar but doctuoreur said no.Day 3 of #15-days-in-public
Worked on getting a gun to render and kind of got the sling thing working. "Borrowed" a lot of code from the default Ursina examples. Spent a while figuring out how to render the gun properly. Next I will probably fix the way bullets work because setting their parent to the gun isn't enough. Will also hopefully add some enemies to shoot and design a map.
github.com/NimitVijayvargee/slingMade my background subtly more cooler by tweaking the animations!
Also changed the page structures a bit.Day 2 of #15-days-in-public (i think)
Read the docs of Ursina (the library I am using) and experimented with FirstPersonController() (exactly what it seems like)
also managed to get collision working. The grappling idea is present in the example docs and so is the gun, so might spend some time modelling it and working it out. What gun would y'all like to see?
Timezones and whatnot, set up my venv and decided to choose Ursina as a library for 3d rendering as it is based on Panda3D and I have a little experience.
Decided to make a portal style parkour-gun game. Will brush up on classes for python because i forgot how they work. Might also create a player if i have the time today
#hack-hour
tried out opencv and learned to use contours, will display contours hopefully next time. Also worked on a map for the sprig open world but tile scrolling is a pain in the ass
sprig.hackclub.com/share/MednN9oIVuOpddiYIJex
Added a new page to talk about my onboard pcb (i just love to yap)
Will be replacing the PCB image with an interactable 3d model, once easyeda can co-operate with me
