Day 203 / 365 Today was really cool and good because GMTK started!! yay!! i decided to team up with my friend regonold (same guy who helped me make gnArp bAll, Souletrakk, Month of management, Culorz, and To Scale A Mountain) and since the theme is "Counting down", we tried to think of games with a lot of counting down. One that came to mind were those cooking games where every single little thing had a timer, so now we are making one of those. Except we are taking a page out of the gnArp bAll book with space theming. So now its a game where your in a space food truck, moving from planet to planet, and you need to cook meals on your journey before you reach the planet. Well you dont have to, but you will be penalized if you dont. and we are also going to try adding engine building. we will lock in more tommorow since my partner in crime had a tiring day before the jam started so he wasnt able to do much.

Day 142 / 365 Today was nice. Rather then adding the games / quiz to my horizons quiz project thing I wanted to try getting a theme loader to work. Idk. I just felt like doing that. I think it was mostly because I havent really ever used the theme system before. Since this project is my chance to really master godot control nodes, themes would be a perfect thing to finally use in it. I made a few themes, and even got custom properties in the theme to work. It automatically applys the theme whenever a new scene is loaded (or when the current theme variable is changed) Also, Im going to a cybersecurity capture the flag hackathon tommorow thats happening near me. I know nothing about cyber security and did not attend a single one of their pre-event workshops (for the record, I only knew i was actually able to go yesterday). My only CTF cybersecurity knowledge comes from a summer camp i did like... 4 years ago maybe. am I cooked?

8 April 2026, Wednesday, Day *98/365. Miercoles.* (Today) --- 6 PM • Working on a banner artwork for my next game (continuing sketch from yesterday. Needs a bit of work • Remembered a conversation with my friend yesterday about an heirloom puzzle I remember he got months ago. ◦ The EMLERA mechanism (As called by me) is a sophisticated puzzle, resembling a brown polyhedron with golden accents. When solved, it should separate into two open polyhedra containers, possibly holding an object.*(This is what I interpreted from what my friend showed of the solved puzzle) ◦ Once solved, the one who currently possesses the Mechanism should hand it down to another person, usually a friend. It has been handed down several times over and is essentially an unknown heirloom, not some run-of-the-mill Rubik's cube. ◦ It was handed down 3 times until it reached my friend, but it almost certainly has been passed down longer. • I might get it next if he still has it. • Might make a really cool web project with it in the future around solving the puzzle, maybe a big guestbook of everyone who has solved it before. • Didn't get cooked that hard • Now I'm working on my game more after an extension I got for #C09EZSEMB16 • Oh yeah, forgot to add I attempted the journey to #C0AKYAXEX5F Enjoyment: 4/5 Productivity: 4/5 Streaks: 1. Day 97 / 365 Today was pretty good! Woke up early and started fixing the minecraft modpack thing. I started by making new tags for the new mods... SO MANY ITEMS 😭 took me forever dude. And I was just doing the cooking mod today!! I wish like they had pre-existing tags since I could just easily throw those into the tag mix but NOO they just had to leave the 30 different jelly items untagged, and only tag the 30 different jelly SERVING items (you use a bowl on the jelly item to get a serving). Not really ideal since im trying to restrict recipes based on complexity. for example anyone can make a smore, but only upgraded chef players can make marshmallows. Anyways after I was done with that I studied the art style i use for one turret that way I could turn it into rules for a shader. I want to try and replicate my 2d visuals in 3d. why? because i want to :) also the kpop demon hunters x cookie run kingdom collab came out like an hour ago and ive been playing it. its good, but i dont really know anything about kpop demon hunters lol. though like the wicked collab they are probably just going to do a cookie run spin on the main plot of it. anywhom have a good day and thank u for reading!!!11

Day 44/365: • Resubmitted the Macroepad, the first review has now been approved • Cooked up a track for the rhythm game! Not as long as I wanted, but it's definitely one of the best songs I've composed (not that the bar is very high) • Took apart a keyboard I don't really use anymore. It can still type, and It's actually not very hard once you get used to it. I also poked all of the keys on its case out for fun (keyboards are easily in my top 10 favorite things to torture) • Attatched is my rhythm game song, the "key"board, and the decapitated keys

Day 10/365 me when the society Tasks I made progress on: • Signalbreak ◦ Played around with godot's GraphEdit and GraphNodes, figured out connections, disabling panning, zooming, scrollbars and locked GraphNodes within the GraphEdit. Overall, much better start than the old iteration of the project. ◦ I also started cooking up some lore for it! Streaks • Journal ✅ • Reflection ✅ • Commits ✅ • Medicines :red-x: Reflection Mood: 3/5 Productivity: 2/5 Worked on Signalbreak today. Nothing much else. Didn't have any intriguing thoughts today so nothing to log on that front either... I already worked on connections in another test, so the module/GraphNode in the image doesn't have ports. I'm just showing the GraphEdit changes and how the GraphNode/Module is locked to the side (just a simple clamping of the relative position of the graphnode)

cooking up a quick little thing to connect little cellular microcontrollers to each other. hit the button, it turns the LED on all other devices on while held. In theory can have unlimited devices. If I have time I'm also going to make a sveltekit dashboard to run in a cloudflare worker, it'll store the state of all the connected devices and can be used to set the color they're showing, brightness, etc.
